It is December and it is the season for many company meals, meetings with friends and family, factors that usually increase the risk of traffic fines, accidents and/or run overs for various reasons.
The legal concept of Road Safety refers to the set of conditions that allow the movement of motor vehicles through the places destined for it does not present risks greater than those allowed. These conditions are specified in the principle of trust and that of directed driving.
Some of the most typical crimes can be found typified in articles 379.2 to 385 ter of the Penal Code are:
- Driving at excessive speed (art. 379.1 CP)
- Driving under the influence of toxic drugs, narcotics, psychotropic substances or alcoholic beverages (art. 379.2).
- Reckless driving (art 380 CP)
- Driving without a permit or with a suspended permit (Art 384 CP)
